Yesterday at church, we celebrated the Lords Supper. Doing that is one of my favorite things to do at church. Although the general subject matter is the same for each Sunday that we have the Lords Supper, I am always moved and touched by the story of the sacrifice that God made for us, by allowing His Son to die on the cross for our sins.
The sermon yesterday from our wonderful pastor, focused on the true message of the cross. Not just the details of how Jesus died for us, but what that death means to us – eternally, but also on earth.
One term my pastor used during his message yesterday, was “crossless Christianity”.
