Thank you for today’s encouragement and the bible verse (Jeremiah 29:11). I often read devotionals thinking only of others and how it would help them. Rarely, do I read one that speaks directly to me as this one did; loud and clear, I might add. I have been in this “nudging phase” for about a year now. No longer am I worried about climbing the corporate ladder but how soon can we downsize and focus solely on God’s kingdom. It was nice to see my feelings laid out in front of me so clearly. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Thank you Tracie for your devotion today. I recieve the Proverbs31.org devotions daily in my email and God has been using them to encourage and change my life over the past month.

“Choosing Christ’s plans, over our plans, will always result in more peace or blessing than we could ever imagine.” Thank you for sharing this with me. You go on further to ask “Do I trust that God ordains all things?”
Wow! God was talking directly to me through your words today. I can spend too much time analyzing and planning instead of putting things into action! Partly due to fear and some perfectionism. But when I trust that God ordains all things, then I can go forward without fear and without myself being the one in total control and instead trusting Him to equip me for such a time as this.

Thank you Tracie! I will be following your blog, as you asked, for the next 5 days. I want to take your Faith Zone Challenge. I’m assuming this challenge is to come on your next blog since I didn’t see it listed today??

    Blessings,
    LeeAnn Garrett

Thank you for your devotional today. I am blessed by this but it is difficult to see things in this light – God saving us from little mishaps – when one has lost someone they love to a mishap. Unfortunately my brother was killed in a car accident 19 years ago – and this too was part of Gods plan. We need to be thankful in all of Gods plan and not see God as a physical protector only.

Thank you for today’s encouragement and bible verse Psalm 33:18!
Today when my children come home from school I will go in the backyard with them and do cartwheels in honor of your sister. I will try to remember not to take this for granted.
I will have hope for my daughter who was just diagnosed with scoliosis last week.

Thank you so very much for reminding me that I do have someone to help me through life’s storms. I’m not alone and ever will be. The following statement really assured me of Gods presents……
Another verse that helps restore peace and hope in my heart is, Isaiah 41:13 which says, “For I hold you by your right hand—I, the Lord your God.And I say to you,‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.’
I love to read Proverbs 31 devotions daily……..I try to start each day off with my day in reading this message.

Waiting for the storm to past……..I can and will with God in my sight always…

    Tracie
Thank you for your post about surrounding yourself with God’s Word. Our Jehovah-Jireh is so faithful to us! I also have been feeling betrayed and hurt by one who is being deceived. I was praying for protection on all sides yesterday afternoon and had not yet read your entry. This morning (2 days later) I read it and was strengthened by your experience. I am going to try this. Thank you again for sharing your intimate moments with our Lord. Bless You – gina

I’m in! Like many of us it seems, this also spoke directly to me! Thank you for your wonderful gift. God bless!

  14. Rita on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 8:44 pm

I’m IN! I also requested you as a ‘friend’ on Facebook. I’ve been married for almost 39 years, but the need to grow in my marriage is even more crucial now than ever. God bless you! This is such an essential ministry!

Tracie…thank you for your word today. I am having a VERY hard time living into this..but not from the perspective that you would think. I don’t SAY things to my husband, BUT I THINK THEM…
I can never do anything that’s good enough to please my husband and feel like I am in a conditional marriage. It’s his conditions or it’s wrong… I am so fed up.. so when I read what you said today…I have to admit I was not ready to hear it… I am SO tired of hearing it’s MY fault,
but I need to follow HIS plan and not mine or my husbands…so I can’r do this anymore and I’M IN!!

I have been holding fast to Jer. 29:11, and asking what I am to do to follow His plan for me. It has been hard to see where my next steps are, especially with a life turned inside out from divorce. Recently I heard that God equips those He calls, rather than calling those who may already be equipped. More proof of His provision!

I loved your Proverbs 31 today. It gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. Also saw today is your husbands b-day! It is my husbands birthday too. Thanks for sharing your story and your faith!

Thank you so very much for the P31 devotion I received today regarding being “Tired of Waiting”. Just yesterday, I expressed these very sentiments to God (although not as eloquently) and have felt unheard and unanswered. Issac’s example is a beautiful reminder that God DOES hear and He always answers in His perfect timing. Again, thank you for writing this timely devotion!

Lysa your testimony and books has been such a blessing and an inspiration in my life and spiritual walk. I was seriously contemplating a divorce and I received an email from a friend and the topic you were speaking on happened to be on marriage, GOD was truly speaking to me. Since that day which was less than a month ago I purchased What Happens When Women say Yes to GOD, read it and it truly ministered to my soul, Next I purchased Being more than a good bible study girl–Truly Awesome!! My husband bought me What Happens When Women Walk in Faith on yesterday, I am loving it already. I am called to ministry and I know this conference is for me. My grandmother always tell me that I should have been a counselor she also prophesied to me saying GOD was going to use me for his Glory and to minister to other young woman. I know that GOD has a calling on my life and I just want to do his will only. I came into contact with Proverbs 31 ministry by divine order and I know that through your ministry GOD is going to help me to help others. Be Blessed!! Love Ya!! Oh I also purchased a NIV study BIBLe I have a Bible but this one teaches the word more understandable.
