Faith Filled Friday – Week 3

I pray it has been a powerful week in your life as we addressed and studied how God wants to not only free us from our inner demons, but use our lives as proof of the power of Jesus Christ!

What better way to nail this awesome truth into our hearts than to read about how other women, just like us,  have had victory over their ‘demons’ and how God is proving in their life that Romans 8:28 is a promise we can count on.  If only we believe He loves us no matter what, say yes to His call and be willing to let Him lead as He sees fit, He can do miracles in our lives as well. Yes, sometimes it’s scary and trusting God with the hard stuff might cost us something…. but the rewards and benefits? Priceless!

So in case you missed the Past Into Purpose Blog Series that I did over the past few months leading up to this study, which highlighted 16 of the 20 women on the YLSC Contributor team whose stories you’ll read in the book after each chapter in the Her Story sections (the remaining 4 were not available for interview), or if you just didn’t have time to read them all, I want to share all the links with you below. How cool is it to be able to put a face with a name that you’re reading about in the book, and really get to know them more personally?  Pretty cool, if you ask me. 🙂

In the book, you’ll see the synopsis version of these women’s incredible God stories, but the blog series went a little deeper, and gives you a glimpse into the hearts and current lives of these amazing women of God – and now, my new friends and sisters in Christ.

To inspire your faith today, might I suggest you take some time over the weekend to read through their interviews and visit their blogs if they have one?

My prayer is that you’ll see yourself in one of their experiences, and glean great inspiration and motivation to open the door for God to begin reshaping your past into a beautiful purpose too. You might also find a new sister in Christ as well.

All things are possible with God! No matter what we have been through, God has a fabulous plan.

We have four weeks left and Im getting excited! What about you?!

Tracie, thank you for leading us through YLSC with such a tender heart of compassion, encouragement and hope! As we recognize Good Friday today, it seems fitting that we are reminded how Jesus nailed our pass mistakes, sins, rebellion, guilt and shame to the cross on Calvary. We have freedom today because of the burdens and stripes of pain Jesus bore for us. Praise His Holy Name!

    Tracie,

Thank you so much for all the links. I have not gotten through them all, I am working through. Sometimes when I try and do to many things at one time I get so overwhelmed that I fall. I have been really concentrating on giving it to God and leaving with him.

It has been awesome the feelings that I have had with not thinking of it all the time. I start another chapter and something else comes up. I don’t want to struggle with this any more. Truly I want him to have it all. I don’t know what is blocking me? Maybe just all the years in the negative.

His son rose from the dead for ME yesterday! I can do this!
