Today I am guest posting over at my sweet friend Sarah Francis Martin’s blog, who has such a heart to minister to young women in their twenties and help them get through that chaos-filled season of life. I vividly remember when I was in my twenties, and how stressful it was trying to juggle the pressures of being newly married, having babies, careers, and minimal finances. Little did I know how stressful like would get in the years to come!
But Sarah and I are definately sisters at heart because we both share a passion to help women of all ages learn to deal with the stressors of life and lean on God during hard times. In fact, she recently wrote a wonderful book called StressPoints: Thriving Through Your Twenties In A Decade of Drama. If you have a twenty-something woman in your life, I know she would benefit from Sarah’s blog writings and her video blogs, in addition to her book!
At Sarah’s blog today called LiveItOut, we are talking about how to deal with some of the major stressors of the holidays such as budgeting, gift buying, family tension, and loneliness. All of which are just a few of the factors which can cause a lot of stress this time of year.
Plus, today Sarah is offering a chance to win a free copy of my new book Stressed-Less Living by leaving a quick comment answering the question: What is ONE thing you will do this Thanksgiving or Christmas to live a Stressed-Less life?
And for a limited time on her site, you can download the 50 page Stressed-Less Living Companion Journal FOR FREE!
The winner of the book giveaway will be announced on November 21st on Sarah’s bog, and the opportunity to download the journal goes away on that day as well.
