Be on the edge of your seat, excited about what God has in store for you and the purpose He might be calling you to. (click to tweet)

The decision we are faced with now is to decide to trust God no matter what, and make a commitment to Him that whatever He calls us to do we will be a willing servant.

Let your story be the compelling motivation that helps us show people that Jesus is alive, real and that He changes lives, and that we are regenerated and transformed.

We are each standing at the edge of the Jordan right now and our faith is being tested.  (click to tweet)

God may call us to step out of our comfort tomorrow or way down the road, but our hearts need to be ready. (click to tweet)

Let’s commit to trusting God with all of our questions and all of the unknowns even when it’s really, really difficult.

God calls us to trust Him even when we don’t have the answer to our “why’s”. (click to tweet)

Don’t discount anything that’s happened in your life. Trust God has a plan and a purpose and that He has an amazing future for you. More than you could have ever imagined.

Week 6 Reading Assignment

Chapter 19 and Chapter 20

Week 6 Reflection Questions

 1. Trust God even when you don’t know ‘why’.  Are you struggling with “why Lord” or “why me Lord” questions? Talk to God about your questions, and ask for the courage and trust to move forward towards where God is calling you even if you don’t hear or know His answers right away.

2. Trust God even when you don’t know ‘how’. Do you struggle with fears that God may not be able to meet your needs?  Do you have a hard time believing He really could use your past for a purpose?  Ask God to fill your heart with an overwhelming sense of peace that surpasses all understanding

3. Trust God even when you don’t know ‘when’.  God’s timing may not always be what we would have chosen, but we can rest assured His timing is ALWAYS perfect. He is never early, and never late, but He is always right on time. Ask God for the ability to trust His timing, and to help you have the patience to walk in faith while His timing plays out. Trust that He will meet your needs and open your spiritual eyes as you continue to walk in faith towards your divine purpose.

I am so sad that this study is coming to an end (I know there’s one more week). I have moved a lot toward accepting God’s love and forgiveness for my sins. I’m still struggling with when and how He will use me, but I am trusting that He will. I have experienced so many sins that I did and that others did to me, that I haven’t seen one purpose arise from the rest. But I know that when the opportunity arises I will be willing to step forward and share what I have experienced. Before this study there were parts that I wouldn’t have shared with anyone for any reason. But now I can see myself sharing with someone some of the deep sins of my past.

I pray for God’s guidance as I move forward trusting that He has a purpose for my life.

    Dear Tracie,
I just wanted to thank you for being transparent, vulnerable, and for following God’s leading to write this book and Bible Study. I know you mentioned at the end of the book that you had to wait 5 long years to get it published, but I can tell you that it came at precisely the right moment for me. This past year, I have endured more challenges personally and within my family than ever before. I have struggled physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Never before have I felt the spiritual battle raging as fiercely or as intensely as I have in the last few months. I feel like the devil is getting really desperate in his attempts to try to attack us, and I’m hoping that is because he knows the end is coming VERY soon. I’m so thankful that God has already won the victory and saved us! Thank you for reminding me to focus on God’s truths (instead of the devils lies) and to trust that God can use me and my broken past for His good purpose. I pray God will continue to bless you and use you in ministry. Thank you again.

What a powerful message! Tracie, your words resonate with my spirit–such beautiful truths from God’s word. I am so encouraged by what God has shown me and spoken to me through this study. God is calling me to step out on the waves in faith and walk forward with Him. I will lay my Isaac down and trust God’s plan for my life however short or long that life may be. I want to be a willing servant and vessel to carry the message of God’s power to transform each life, no matter how broken, and use that life to serve Him. Thank you Tracie. Bless you, Bonnie Wallace. Love to this wonderful group of sisters traveling through this study. I am very grateful for this powerful and life-changing study. Jesus is waiting for us on the waves.

    Hi Tracie,
I am so sorry for being late with this post but I am going back and catching up because I have really enjoyed this Bible Study. I cannot believe we are on our last week. I am learning so much and this has been exciting, wonderful but also scary at times to realize there are some things in my life that I have not completely dealt with. But, I will keep on working on myself, following God’s plans for me and going back over this bible study when I begin to feel bad about myself. I want to let you know that in church this morning, our minister talked about believing God has a wonderful plan for our lives. The title of his message was “Lord I Believe”. I almost fainted because for the past few weeks I have been praying to God and talking to him about believing dreams and visions he has been showing me about my life. Also, after the service, one of our choir members came up to me, hugged me and started praying over me. She just grabbed me and started praying. All I could do was hold on to her, close my eyes and say Thank you, Lord.

Thank you Ms. Tracie for your awesome book (Your Life Still Counts) and I am really starting to believe that mine does, this Bible Study and being so open about your past. After all of this, I am very excited to see what else God has planned for me including what my calling/ministry will be.
