An Unlikely Confidence (& a newly released book & DVD giveaway!)

Today I’m welcoming my good friend Lynn Cowell to guest post on my blog to share about her new book, Make Your Move: Finding Unshakable Confidence Despite your Fears and Failures. She’s offered to give away a free copy of Make Your Move as well as the 6-DVD bible study series. Read to the bottom of this post to see how you can enter!

Now here’s Lynn:

Ever meet a woman who seemed to light up the room when she walked in?

Her laugh said, “I don’t take life too seriously.” Her carefree walk let you know she was comfortable with who she was. Her hair and outfit seemed to be perfect.

Then again, maybe it wasn’t.

Actually her hair was held up in a casual bun and she had on workout clothes. So what made it seem like she had it all together?

Confidence.

I used to think confidence was something you were born with. If you were the perfect package – body, hair, family – you had confidence.

But I met a woman in the Bible who has changed my mind.

This woman demonstrated a very unlikely confidence. I call it unlikely because the Bible describes her as “a sinful woman.” Most likely, she was a prostitute. We meet her in Luke chapter 7, and her story begins in verse 36:

“When one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, he went to the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, so she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume. As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them” (Luke 7:36-38).

Do you see the confidence? Confidence to walk into a house full of judgmental men looking down on those unlike them.

What would have given this unwanted woman the confidence to approach the perfect Son of God? To push past all that rejection?

Love.

Jesus called it out. “Therefore, I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven – for she loved much …” (Luke 7:47a, ESV). Her love for Jesus gave her this unlikely confidence.

What caused her to love Jesus so much? We’re not given details about her except she was a woman “who lived a sinful life” in that town.

What had she seen? And experienced? Luke 7:11-15 offers a clue:

“Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out – the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, ‘Don’t cry.’ Then he went up and touched the bier they were carrying him on, and the bearers stood still. He said, ‘Young man, I say to you, get up!’ The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.” (Luke 7:11-15, NIV)

Maybe the woman was in this crowd and saw Jesus’ compassion, love, kindness, caring.

I’m not sure exactly what happened, but one thing is certain: She encountered unconditional love and it gave her the confidence to push past rejection. She knew she was wanted and it compelled her to show love in return.

Based on her past, I’m sure she knew no man could fill the gap in her heart. Yet this Man, this perfect One, loved her and it gave her unshakeable confidence.

Love empowered her.

This woman shows us: Confidence doesn’t come from doing everything right or having it all together. Confidence comes from knowing we are loved. Jesus gave it; she received it.

We, too, can find confidence, no matter how unlikely it may seem to us. Confidence to push past our barriers in order to receive and return Perfect Love.

Confidence isn’t something you’re born with. Nor do you get it from the perfect childhood or the model marriage. Rather, it comes from knowing you are loved by the One who gave His life for you.

I think many of the people that we look at and think are confident are actually just pretending to be so. Maybe most of us have a person inside who feels a little uncertain or has insecurities about something especially because we compare ourselves to others.

    • Cynthia on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:31 am

Confidence…..wow! I believe I was born with it, but somewhere down the road, I started listening to the naysayers. No more! I know I am a Blessed Child of the high King, Jesus, and today I am standing in my confidence, by His power. No more excuses, no more lies to myself, just trusting and believing in God and His miracles. He has shown me in my dreams, the plans He has for me….now all I want to do is follow Him.
      Blessings and love,
      Cynthia

    • Lynn Cowell on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:31 am

I think you are completely right, Tiffany. At least it has been true for me. I am so thankful that the Lord is forming in me His confidence that can shine no matter what is going on outside or how I may be feeling inside.

    • Christina on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 3:21 pm

      I’ve tried getting confidence
      From people places and things…
From Christ…I wish I really knew this as a young
      Girl…never too late..
Now I can give this to grandkids

    • Lena on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 4:47 pm

I, for one looks like I am chuck full of confidence but no, not really….proves the point that we really don’t know what someone else deals with deep on the inside. God grow and increase my confidence so I can love and help others find thier place too❤️

I definitely need this God has me in transition to go deeper,me God me how can I possibly accomplish this?

    • Lynn Cowell on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:32 am

Marilyn – that is what makes it Christ Confidence. It is a confidence that can only come from Him at work in us!

  4. Julie on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:14 am

Definitely a struggle for me. Not fully ‘knowing’ who I am in Christ or realizing His love for me

    • Lynn Cowell on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:01 am

Julie – keep pouring the Word of God into your heart. That is the only way for our hearts and minds to create a “new” us – by removing the lies of who we are and replacing them with God’s truth. He will do it in you and through you. His word is powerful!

    • julie on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 12:30 pm

I have the same feeling also.

  5. April Lewis on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:14 am

Unshakeable Faith – that is a mouth full. When at every turn it seems like the devil tries to stop you in your tracks and keep you from moving forward in life. I am learning “again” when you jump out of bed in the morning to shout – “not today Satan; you can have my family, my peace or my life!”
Thank you for considering me for the give-away. Have a blessed day.

    • Lynn Cowell on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:02 am

Absolutely, April! “Not today, Satan … or any day!”

  6. Tania on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:14 am

Sounds like a bible study that I need.

  11. VICKIE on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:25 am

Confidence? To be told over and over your birth was a mistake and trying desperately to PLEASE makes all my current mistakes hard to realize that God could love me. Very hard not to compare myself with others who seem to have it “all together”.

    • Lynn Cowell on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:06 am

Vickie – can you see how the enemy has had his plan working against you from the very start? To keep you from all God has for you. Why? Because he hates us and he hates God who loves us even more.

GOD created you – not two humans coming together. He decided when and how you would come to be – so that He could have relationship with you.

You really nailed it when you said “seem to have it altogether”. Behind our doors, everyone of us has problems. Some are just more visible than others. Some we can share, others we cannot. What matters is that we all are living for the audience of one – Jesus!

    • Megan L. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 10:21 am

Remember Vickie, God doesn’t make mistakes. He formed you and knew you before you were ever born. No matter what people may have told you and made you feel like, God loves you so much that He sent Jesus to die for you. Please don’t believe the devils lies that you were ever a mistake. God knew exactly what He was doing when He made you, and He has a purpose for you. Ask Him to help you accept His love. I’ll be praying for you.

  12. Reva on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:26 am

Taking on many “storms” in my life right now and I need anything & everything to hold me up, keep me going and especially to give it to and relying on God. So confidence is a must! Love all you ladies who write these awesome books to help us all. God Bless You!

  13. Suzan on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:29 am

Sounds like a Bible study I would need. I don’t feel confident being a single older woman who doesn’t have a great past from childhood through marriages. Thank you for sending this to my email.

  14. Beth on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:30 am

Genuine confidence grounded in God’s love – no more fake it till you make it! Thank you for sharing this today. It touched my heart.

  15. Shayne on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:31 am

Thank you for being confident and boldly writing this book!

  16. Joan Rushing on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:32 am

I definitely need confidence in myself. My husband just fussed at me about this the other day. I always think that I’m not good enough to…fill in the blank… or wouldn’t look good enough in …fill in the blank… And I worry that I am passing this on to my teenage daughter. I am a great encourager to everyone but me.

  17. Penny Timmons on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:32 am

Seeking confidence thru the truth of scriptures is the only way to understanding who I was made to be. Jesus Christ is our example for liviing as a confident woman for God.
I would love to read, lead and share this study offer with women who seek to know their confidence in Jesus.

We have been searching for a new bible study for our women’s group at church and this seems like a “divine intervention” I read about you today! Thanks for sharing your faith with us and we would love to win your DVD series to share in our community!

  22. Tracie on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:54 am

I love how God put things in our paths at the perfect time. He is currently working on me in the area of receiving His perfect love and to know just how much He loves me and to love others with that love. Thank you.

  23. Tracie on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:58 am

I love how God puts things in our paths at just the perfect time. He is currently working on me in the area of love. To receive His perfect love and to give it to others. Thank you

  24. Carol on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:06 am

I have been looking for a long time to find a Bible Study like this – seems the older I get the less confidence I have. I would love to receive this. Thank you

  25. Leslie on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:13 am

Oh my goodness, SO perfect for all of us…I would LOVE to be able to go through this study with a good friend….

  26. Patti on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:14 am

Lynn, your book and DVD series sound like the blessing I need, not only for myself, as I enter the gates of the Maximum prison, but also for the ladies who come to our service to find the love of Jesus.
Most of our women are feeling like failures who see no value in themself. Only Jesus can change that by His love. They need confidence as they continue to struggle in their environment.
    Thank you for this opportunity.

  27. Susan Bricker on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:16 am

I loved this! I think so many struggle with confidence, myself included. We are surrounded by standards of this world that we think we need to meet or surpass. Yet we are loved by a God that says we are more than good enough, just as we are in this moment. We are His Beloved. To walk in that, to keep our hearts and minds in that place of being His beloved would raise us up to receive the confidence of how deeply we are loved and cherished.

I loved this in your post, ” This woman shows us: Confidence doesn’t come from doing everything right or having it all together. Confidence comes from knowing we are loved. Jesus gave it; she received it.”

Thank you both for these powerful truths and inspiration! I can’t wait to read your book Lynn!

  28. Tammy Gabaldon on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:17 am

This study sounds awesome! Definitely can learn more about being more confident in whom I am through Christ.

  29. Yausameen Murray on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:17 am

The world’s standard of confidence is very different that God’s standard… I call it “Godfidence”. Thank you for this article. This is one area in my life where I still struggle with. I’d love to win this study and share it with my friends!!

  30. Julie on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:28 am

Confidence is definitely a struggle for me. Both in my professional life and personal life. Your words spoke such truth to my heart. I just need to learn to live in the confidence of God’s love for me.

  31. Sammye P Mauney on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:29 am

Confidence is something that we all are in need of. I have been widowed for 4 years now getting accustomed to doing things on my own, but sometimes I have issues come up that I am not sure that I can handle. My daughter and her two children (ages 9 & 5) have moved in with me after discovering that her husband of 10 years has been unfaithful yet again. She is 3 weeks away from graduating from Commonwealth Institute, so this could not have come at a worse time for her. To say that her confidence has been shaken is an understatement. I think that both of us could use this study.

  32. Ruth on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:31 am

I am in a small group of 5. Recently we have all been hit with some life challenges that have shaken our confidence up. A marriage struggling after 15 years, job loss, aging/ill parent, potential relocation and new job 500mi away, confronting the past. The unknown of our futures is huge. This study may just be what we need to focus on what truly matters and not our fear and insecurities.

  33. Carol B on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:39 am

Would really like this to share with my niece and other family members.

  34. Suzanne Shaw on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:47 am

I lead a DivorceCare class each week. This would be the perfect Bible study to follow up with after that class! So many of the guys and girls have lost that confidence and belief in themselves. I know that this would help them get it back!

  35. Gayna on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:47 am

Eye opening piece… Confidence is not something I come by easily. It’s a daily struggle. I love the comment about how nothing or no-one can give us confidence, it comes from God’s love for us. I had a pastor tell me a couple of weeks ago that I just need to get my confidence back. Life can beat us down if we listen to the wrong information going into our minds and hearts. I would love to receive this bible study to take to my Sunday school class. I am confident each lady in that group would benefit and enjoy what this offers. I choose to focus on God’s love for me. I am closing my mind to the lies. Thank you for this study!

  36. Jenny on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:49 am

I think we all lack confidence in one way or another in our life. I enjoy reading about women from the bible that struggled as we do and then find their way by having faith.

  37. Megan L. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 10:19 am

Thank you for this devotional. I still have a hard time always believing and feeling the love Jesus has for me. I think I tend to wall myself off and then when I don’t feel things I wonder what’s wrong with me. I know my confidence has grown since I asked Jesus in my life, because I would never have been able to step out and do some of the things I have without knowing He wanted me to do them. This was really good though and I appreciate your pointing out that confidence comes from know Whose we are, instead of who we are. Sometimes I feel like a fraud in my faith but I think that is just the devil trying to get me to give up.

  38. Amber on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 10:24 am

I honestly think confidence is a struggle for everyone including myself. Just as I was talking about going out of my comfort zone today I read this. Wow, the things God shows us right? This would be a great study for anyone.

  39. Patti P on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 10:24 am

Confidence is one thing I think everyone struggles with once in a while. I know I do. I want my confidence to come from knowing I am a beloved daughter of God.

    • Carrie Wicklein on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:21 am

Thank you for highlighting the subject of confidence and God’s love. This is another great reminder to trust Him with our daily struggles and fears that rob us of our confidence.

  40. Jaime on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 10:25 am

How great it would be to possess a confidence such as this. As a young girl I dreamed I would have it as I got older. As I turn 41, I am farther away than ever.

    • Jean A on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:07 am

Jamie, I want you to know you are loved. I’m sure you are loved by many people in your life but most importantly, you are loved by God. Build your confidence around this fact. Don’t let others shape your confidence. Be strong and find that confidence in the Word of the Lord.

Hebrews 10:35-36 “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”

  41. Patty on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 10:28 am

I went through a divorce after being married for 33 years. This was not my choice. It was so hard my confidence was shattered and some days looking back I don’t Know how I made it out of bed in the morning. God is faithful and true. He gave me strength and help me regain confidence in him. I still have hard days and Santander tries to convien e me i am worthless. Thankful I know God loves me regardless
    Of my failures.

  43. Jean A on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 10:49 am

I have friends who comment that they wish they had my confidence. I wasn’t always confident and still struggle at times. Knowing that Jesus is in my life and died for my sins, has given me more confidence. I feel like I am no longer living to please others. God loves me and that’s all I need to know.

  47. Trisha Knaul on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:12 am

There are times when we all face challenges that require more confidence than we have. Make Your Move is a wonderful source of encouragement for someone in a season of fear, doubt, or challenge.

  48. Sarah M. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:25 am

Lack of confidence is something that I have deeply struggled with for a long time. I now have someone in my life who is super encouraging, always directs my thoughts toward the fact that I have nothing to lose and that God loves me unconditionally, and because of those things I have no reason to not have confidence! I’m so thankful that God is using that person to help me look at myself differently, as Christ does. I would love to have a chance to work through this Bible study!

  49. Kellie Metzker on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:30 am

Building confidence is never easy. We believe we are not worthy or allowed! Knowing God’s unconditional love for us should give us all the confidence we need to do His work!

  50. Refocus-Reclaim on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:31 am

Wow. I needed to hear this. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for the nugget at the end that I’ll keep in front of me for a while… “Confidence doesn’t come from doing everything right or having it all together. Confidence comes from knowing we are loved. “

  51. Lori A. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:44 am

YES! I want that kind of confidence!

  53. Shelly on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 12:11 pm

Up until just recently I always felt I had low self esteem, afraid of most things and people. Always scared to go anywhere or do anything by myself. I had several circumstances from childhood that even made it worse. I’ve been living for God over 20 years and never thought of myself as selfish and always thought more about serving others but now have realized how selfish I was because my focus was still on me. So many things I wouldn’t do or people I wouldn’t approach. I’ve in the last year been given God confidence through reading and quoting His word. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. One of my favorites. Learning to trust Him and His love for me in all things.

  54. donna on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 12:17 pm

    Please!!! and THANK YOU!!

  55. Kathy on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 12:25 pm

This message gives me confidence as I realize how much God loves me. The gift of His Son shows me His unconditional love. Jesus broke down the barrier of sin through His death, bringing me into direct contact with God the Father. It is wonderful to know I am loved and accepted, just as I am.

  56. Alicia on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 12:43 pm

Thank you for offering this. I, too, struggle with confidence. But I don’t think most people would know that by looking at me. I’m an active leader in my community. But underneath that is a girl who doesn’t think she knows enough or she’s good enough. With the Lord’s guidance, I’m getting better. But this sounds like it would be another help in the journey.

  57. Leisa Patrick on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 12:58 pm

I believe one of Satan’s most powerful tools is to undermine our self-esteem and cause us to question our worth. We are worthy because of our Lord – He made us, He knows us and He loves us! We are valuable to Him!

  58. Susan Daugherty on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 1:00 pm

Confidence in who I am or what I can do is always at risk. Confidence because of who I belong to is on solid ground. Thanks for the reminder!

  59. Joy on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 1:48 pm

Thank you for your words of encouragement. I’d love to win this series for my Sunday school class. Our members are finding confidence despite divorces, loss of a job held for 25 years, sudden death of a younger sibling, aging parents with health problems, and other issues.

  60. Judy on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 1:50 pm

It is so easy to get caught up in this world, forgetting that there is a God who loves me unconditionally. Reminders for myself become a necessary requirement. Lord, help me to always remember You love ne, no matter what. You knew in advance what I am and you picked me anyway. I want to always surrender to You. Help me to always do so, Amen.

  61. Laura Meiser on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 2:34 pm

I think the world tells us a whole lot of what it expects us to to be and then by comparison we begin adding to that. Then add the lies of the enemy and suddenly we’re completely misguided. Help us, Jesus. WE need more of You in our lives. Looking forward to this insightful word!

This looks like an amazing study! I have felt God tugging at me to move forward with some things in my life. And the fear of the unknown always is there to stop me short of what i know I need to do.

I have read unsinkable faith and can’t wait to read it again! Thank you for sharing your heart with us.

I was just getting ready to post on a few of my business pages an instaquote “you never know until you go” and was going to share about just moving forward, regardless of your fears . . . I read one of the ladies post above about having confidence and then losing it . . . that is what happened to me. I became so wrapped up in shame and lost my confidence . . . but only because I took my eyes off of HIM and on “them” and what they thought about me and even what I thought about myself and lost it. Thankfully, God has been working on me and healing has taken place and it is coming back . . . God is so good! It is not about me, but all about Him and what He thinks about me, that is all the confidence I need. Can’t wait to check out this book!! Love & Prayers!

Confidence is a great thing to have. I am confident of this one thing, that He who began a good work in me will complete it on the day I see Jesus face to face. I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I’ve committed unto him against that day! Let me tell you, that is confidence!

We gain confidence when we know and believe Who’s we are, and the price that was paid for us. This is a daily renewing, and I am still very much in progress on this journey to discover who He made me to be for His glory.

Wow!!! Amazing!!! Thank you for sharing!!! Oh how I yearn to be confident like this woman in the bible. God Bless.

  71. Carmen on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 5:12 pm

I’m very much looking forward to reading this book. At work, I’m confident in my strengths and abilities however personally, I’m admittedly a mess when it comes to self-confidence. I’m extremely self-conscious and being so has prevented me from opportunities. This is something I’ve been wanting to work on for quite some time.

  72. Karolina on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 5:35 pm

I desire as well to gain my permanent confidence in God and how He sees me, without a fear or even concern of what people would think or say, and being immune to their criticism (which has been quite a sore and bruised spot the last couple of years for me).

  73. Jess on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 6:11 pm

    Lynn-
You are growing as a writer and so are those following you????????. I thank God for you.

  74. Rachel on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 7:56 pm

This would be a wonderful Bible study. I have never had much confidence.

  75. Amy on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:14 pm

Our identity is in Christ. We are children of the Most High God and He does not make junk! Jesus loves us more than we will ever know. These are hard-to-wrap around our head for those of us who have been abused and rejected most of our lives. BUT GOD can do anything! BUT GOD is bigger than our lack of confidence! I want to encourage us with a verse of Scripture I run to when my heart becomes “wobbly” or gets broken, “My confidence is in the Lord!” I need this lesson every single day!! HE promises to uphold us with His righteous right hand — HE gives us our confidence!! I so want to ;earn this and get it in my heart and life! Thank you!

  76. Ann on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:15 pm

Thank you I really got a lot out of this devotional! I need to have that confidence!

  77. Alice Redmond on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:07 pm

My confidence comes from my faith in Christ; in Him I am confident!

  78. michelle r on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:14 pm

The Bible sounds good! Every one of us can benefit from being reminded that the King of Kings left the glories of heaven for us! That even if we had been the only one, He still would have came, He loves us that much :o)

I was told over and over that I was no good by my stepfather and had a very traumatic childhood. I was only comfortable dating guys that treated me bad, because that’s what I thought I deserved. It led from one abusive relationship to another. I felt unlovable until I accepted Christ in 2001, when I was 30. I finally found the One who loved me unconditionally and would never reject me. I’ve come a long way, but continue to work on my confidence. Oh, how I wish I had studies like yours when I was a teenager. Thank you for all you do, Lynn!! May God continue to bless you and your ministry.

  80. Nicole on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 9:39 pm

This is exactly what I am seeking. To know a love that erases the rejection.

  81. Julie Jarvi on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 10:37 pm

I would love to learn more about confidence. I know that I along with several members of my family would benefit for this Bible study. Thank you for the opportunity!

  82. Tina on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 10:45 pm

To have the confidence to push past my walls (as I call them) would be wonderful. I have huge walls up that I know prevent me from pouring out to others.

  83. Carla on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 10:50 pm

I love your blogs. Can’t wait to read this book!

  84. Martha on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 5:45 am

I can spend a couple hours starting my day with Jesus in Bible study and prayer, but as soon as I transition my day into the real world I am an emotional mess again. I would love to have more confidence.

  85. Diana Rockwell on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 6:40 am

Dear Lynn, I received my book, will look forward to reading it. I will need the confidence now that the Lord called my father home on November 20, I am glad I ordered the book before he got sick. I am glad I got to meet you at the Suzie’s retreat. Blessings. Diana

So many times I compare myself with other women I meet that on the outside look like they have it all together. I soon find out that they have some of the same insecurities I do. We all need an encounter with God and His great love to change us. I look forward to reading your book.

I have always struggled with confidence

  91. Maddy Ramirez on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 4:53 am

My daughter is currently struggling with self-confidence. The thing is, it has affected her children also. I don’t know how to help her anymore. Prayers please.

  92. Darlene Dunlap on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 12:13 pm

Confidence; on the outside I look like I have confidence but on the inside I am telling myself very negative things. That I don’t belong; that they don’t want me here. And I know many women like this. This would be great for me.

  93. Jessica Orika on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 3:26 am

Perfect love casts out fear… I was greatly blessed just reading this. God bless you!
