Will you share your thoughts?

When I was just a little girl, I told my mom I wanted to be a journalist one day, and I always had a love for English.  I could envision myself writing articles for newspapers, investigating special stories, or crafting fun stories to read. But then as I grew up, graduated from college and got a job in the corporate world, I eventually lost sight of that idea.

But God didn’t.

As seasons of life changed, and I felt called to ministry in my late thirties, God gave birth to that idea in my heart. Then years ago, when I finally figured out what a blog actually was, I excitedly created one of my own.

I love to write, not only because it’s creative and fun, but because it’s an outlet for me to express my thoughts, grow closer to God, and connect with women who are going through similar challenges and experiences from all over the world.

Sometimes I have a season of “writers block” while other times I may feel flooded with ideas. Yet I never want to lose sight of what God is calling me to write about, or the needs of the audience I am writing to. And you, my friend, are not only my “audience”, but my sister in Christ, walking with me on this journey of faith.

So as we kick off this new year, I would love to get your input and advice about my blog content for this year.  I am continually seeking God’s guidance about what to write about and the words and experiences that He would have me share, but I also long to write about things which will touch the hearts of those I am connecting with online.

Will you take a few minutes to offer your feedback about what you might like to see me write about this year?

The link below will take you to a quick 10-question survey where you will be asked for your thoughts and suggestions about blogging topics that would be of most interest to you, and an opportunity to provide some feedback. It should only take a few minutes, and all answers are confidential.

To give you a little motivation: All entries will be entered into a drawing to win two signed copies of Stressed-Less Living: Finding God’s Peace In Your Chaotic World.  Winners to be announced on my blog on February 3rd.

Thank you in advance to everyone who is willing to take time to share your thoughts!

I invested many years of myself in building a women’s ministry where ladies could come together and be encouraged to discover their gifts and learn to use them for God’s glory. I was deeply wounded when some who wanted to take control, began a process of moving me out. I felt rejected and my spirit was crushed.

I can look back now and see where God allowed me to go through that difficult time, ‘so that’ He could teach me more about His character, forgiveness, love and relying on Him. He has moved me to a new place where I’m able to work with like-minded women, bringing women’s ministry to even more ladies of different ages, ‘so that’ they too would learn what He wants to teach them.

I am currently in the middle of a divorce. My husband has been cheating on me for years and, when it all finally came out, we separated. Although the feelings I have are still very raw, I have been able to see that I am going through this hard time ‘so that’ I can come back to my God! I didn’t realize that I had drifted so far away from God. Our marriage, unfortunately, was never centered around Christ. Even though a divorce was the last thing I could have wanted I try to remember that God should be the most important person in my life and from Him ALL good things flow!

Thank you for all of your wonderful devotions and blog. You are all helping me get through this difficult time!

ASUS’s Eee PC netbooks are usually superior to any MSI Wind netbook.
While ASUS has acknowledged that some in the problems exist, they haven’t commented on others.
