Winner!

I was blown away by the many comments left on Wednesday’s post as entries to win a signed copy of Wendy Blight’s new bible study book called Living So That.

If you haven’t had a chance to read the comments yet, I want to encourage you to do so, because if you are feeling down and wondering why God is allowing your hardships to occur, then these comments will lift your spirits so much!  When we can see how God turns bad into good in so many lives and in so many different situations, faith takes on a whole new feel.

Although many of the adversities many people shared were hard to read, and my heart hurt for the pain endured,  I was blessed beyond belief to read how they could not only see how God was using those hard times “so that” He could do something good in them and through them, but how many are trusting God right now in the midst of a difficult circumstance, trusting that soon God will reveal His purpose for their pain.

I want to encourage you to ponder over the weekend about what your “so that” statement might be. What has God done in your life “so that” He could do a work in you or bless you in some way? And secondly, consider looking up some verses in the Bible that include the words “so that”, asking God to speak to your heart through them in a brand new way.

The randomly selected winner of Wendy’s book was Anna B.  If you would like to purchase a copy of Wendy’s book, click here.

Ps 27:12-13 “I would have despaired if I had not believed I would see the goodness of The Lord in the land of the living. Let your heart take courage. Yes, wait on The Lord.”
It is not always easy to wait and trust, but God always comes through with either a measure of peace or or renewed strength. I have often reminded myself that this verse says LET your heart take courage. God wants to give me inner peace.
