Summer. It’s my absolute most favorite time of year. Especially when the weather is perfect, the kids are getting along, and the pressures and worries of normal life stay at bay. And double especially when I’m on vacation, and don’t have to face reality at all.
But when one or all of those things aren’t the case, stress can quickly rear it’s ugly head. In today’s Proverbs 31 Devotion, I shared some tips on how to survive the stress of summer, and I’d love to encourage you to head over and read it. (click here to read that devotion) .
I’d also love to invite you to visit me on Pinterest where you’ll find my entire Summer Stress Survival Series, which is a compilation of summer stress tips, ranging from dealing with the stress of summer vacations, dealing with blended families, kids, and coworkers, to the stress of sending kids off to college. So hop over to my Pinterest boards to start preparing your heart and mind for summer, and consider sharing them with your friends who might need some tips as well.
Want to take me on vacation with you this summer? Well thanks, I’d love to! Smiles. 🙂
Consider purchasing a copy of my book Stressed-Less Living: Finding God’s Peace In Your Chaotic World. It’s a great book to read when summer gives you a little down time, and will help you feel peace-filled and close to God even when summer stressors and the every day stressors of life threaten to steal your joy.

Hi there. I really enjoyed your blog about worry. I am a worrier…big time. I worry about getting an illness, I worry about something happening to my family members. You name it, I’ve probably worried about it! I want to be free from this temptation to worry and trust God with all areas of my life. I would love a copy of your book, Stressed less living. I feel that it would be very beneficial to me. Thank you!
