In today’s Proverbs 31 devotion, I talked about how much I enjoy hot cocoa on a cold winter’s day and how it always reminds me to pause and remember God’s goodness. I have to admit though, that a steaming French Vanilla latte with piles of whip cream on top makes me feel all warm inside too. Smiles.
Yet no matter what I’m drinking, or eating, or enjoying, I never want to forget to be thankful for Jesus, especially on Christmas Eve when He should be the focus of every breath I take. Since you might be pulled in a lot of directions today, I simply want to share the verses below from today’s devotion for you to tuck into your heart as we officially celebrate the gift of God’s Son.
And even after all the decorations have been put away, we will still want to take time to focus on all that God has done for us especially as we embark on a brand new year. So today I’m giving away a little warmth for your heart to help you snuggle with God as you sip some warm cocoa in the cold month of January.
